How it works

Four steps to the front desk.

    Sign up

    The form below, two minutes. Then you confirm your address with a link from the email.

  2. 2

    Approval

    We take a look at your gym and approve it. The email comes with the Partner Terms and the link for the display.

  3. 3

    Tablet on the front desk

    Open the link on the device at the front desk and tap “Set up display”. The code runs, and without a connection it keeps running for up to twelve hours.

  4. 4

    Check in

    Everyone who trains scans the code with the camera or in the app. Guests show you the check-in and buy the day pass from you.

Guests pay you.
€10 at most.

For everyone with Diaboliq who isn’t a member with you. You set the price, up to €10. It’s paid at your front desk and the money stays with you; we make nothing on it. The pass is valid for one day on the gym floor, under your house rules.

At the maximum price you sell the same guest one pass a week at most; more generous is fine. If the floor is full, you can say no.

Good to know.

What do I need for it?
A tablet or a screen with a browser and internet at the front desk. That’s it: no till, no interface, no software to install.
Do I get data about users?
No. You only see what a guest shows you in the app: your gym and the time of their check-in. Nothing is stored in the process, and we get nothing about your members.
What is Ember?
The reward in the app: one for every day with a workout up to the weekly goal of the plan, plus one for checking in on a day with a workout. You can’t pay with it at your place; the day pass is paid at the front desk.
How do you prevent abuse?
The code changes every 30 seconds and is only valid briefly, everyone checks in once a day at most, and Ember only comes with a workout. A photo of the code doing the rounds is worthless in no time. If the link to the display gets lost, we renew it.
What does it cost, and from when?
Nothing until the app launches publicly. After that €39 a month or €390 a year, excl. VAT per location; the first 25 locations pay €29 a month for good. We agree the start and the details with you beforehand.
Can I stop again?
During the founding phase, any time. One email is enough.
I have several locations.
Then each location signs up separately and gets its own code at the front desk.
